We’re a fintech venture builder and investor – a bank for entrepreneurship, founded in Stockholm in 2025 by serial entrepreneur Oliver Hildebrandt.

About the role

As Legal Counsel at 0TO9, you’ll be a key member of our legal team supporting a fast-growing and innovative fintech environment.. In this role, you will work broadly as a legal generalist, but with a strong focus on financial regulation, AML and legal operations. Your work will have a real impact - making sure we grow responsibly and stay ahead of regulatory requirements. You will:

• Carrying out AML/CFT risk assessments and assisting in structuring and implementing effective routines
• Supporting and driving license applications in Sweden and across Europe.
• Assisting in contract negotiations and drafting agreements.
• Providing support on corporate governance matters.
• Advise the business on a wide range of legal topics,
• Collaborate closely with different teams to provide clear, practical legal guidance.
• This is a chance to step into a role where you’ll combine legal expertise with business understanding in a truly hands-on way.

What we’re looking for

You are a curious and pragmatic legal professional who enjoys working broadly across different areas of law while keeping a special focus on financial regulation. You thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can combine your legal expertise with business understanding, and you’re comfortable taking ownership and collaborating with colleagues from different teams. We think you’ll bring:

• A law degree and solid legal background, with experience in financial regulation and AML, ideally at a startup/scaleup FinTech
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal topics in a clear and practical way.
• The mindset of a generalist: detail-oriented when needed, but able to see the bigger picture.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to adapt quickly.
• A collaborative spirit and genuine interest in supporting the growth of the business.
