The Role

Are you a tech-savvy accountant tired of the traditional firm life? We’re looking for someone to join 0TO9 as we scale up. Being one of the first hires in our accounting team, you’ll be at the heart of our operations and make sure our ventures can move fast without the finance engine breaking.

This is a broad, hands-on role where you take ownership of the accounts. We aren't looking for a "number cruncher" who just follows a manual. We want someone who wants to help us build a modern, automated finance function from the ground up.

What you will do

• Handle the full accounting cycle including payroll.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Support in the implementation of a new ERP system for the Group.

• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and design smarter, more automated workflows.

• Prepare external financial statements.

• Support statutory reporting and tax/VAT filings.

Who you are

We are in a fast-moving scaleup phase that requires you to be highly independent. You don't wait for a manual or a to-do list; you see what needs to be fixed and you make it happen. You thrive in environments where things change quickly and you enjoy the challenge of building something from scratch.

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably from a fast‑growing company.

• Ability to prioritize and manage complexity in a fast-moving environment

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent

• Very comfortable in Excel with an interest in using tech and automation to work smarter.

• Experience with modern accounting/ERP or fintech tools is a plus. 

• A self‑starter who is comfortable taking initiative and owning your areas from day one.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly with both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
